The Joshua Tales: Joshua’s Birth

Joshua's Birth

*Note: the Spanish who found her, etched their initials and left, named the green isle lost in the mid-Atlantic Pocaroja – Little Red. The English who came to feed on her and stayed call her nothing and those ancestors brought in fishcages trapped bobbing on the blue call her DeGhos’inI.

I am descendant of underwater fowl. Joshua was born on a blood isle* during the rainy season at twilight, when the bats feasted, from my side/myside.
